Year 5 Debaters Continuing a Strong Tradition

In 2018 Andie Hodder, Isla Worland, Scarlett Francis and Katie Crouch won the Kerri Parkes Western Debating Challenge. Defeating every primary school in the Western Region.

Today, Forbes Public School Year 5 debaters (Tilly Townsend, Steph Vonthien, Matilda Stitt, Maddie Burbage and Heidi Fairley) defeated Parkes Public. Adjudicators Wynn Sideris and Emma Northam commended the team for their strong team thread and the final speaker’s rebuttals and conclusion.
